Server Error in '/' Application. The resource cannot be found.

Symptom
You get the error the resource cannot be found when you try to open the PCE Console as shown below;

Solution
1. Go to PCE Server computer.

2. Open the folder C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\pcent - This folder contains at least four subfolders namely pceconsole, pceserver, pcereport and pceclient. We are going to configure the first three subfolders.

3. Right click the folder named pceconsole and select Properties in the shortcut menu.

4. In the pceconsole Properties dialog box select the Web Sharing tab.

5. Select the “Share this folder” option.

6. A dialog box appears saying the alias name pceconsole will be used. Click OK.

7. Click OK in the pceconsole Properties dialog box.

8. Repeat step 3 to step 7 with pceserver and pcereport subfolders. In this way three virtual folders named pceconsole, pceserver and pcereport will be created in IIS.

9. Now try open the PCE Console via your browser.
